Volleyball Game Preview: Rolling Meadows Mustangs vs. Prospect Knights

The Rolling Meadows Mustangs will square off against the Prospect Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

On Wednesday, Rolling Meadows came up short against Maine West and fell 2-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

While Rolling Meadows was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 28-26.

Meanwhile, Prospect had to endure a six-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Elk Grove by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Prospect took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-4.

Rolling Meadows' defeat dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Prospect, their win bumped their record up to 8-23.

Rolling Meadows came out on top in a nail-biter against Prospect in their previous meeting on May 1st, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
