Webster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 62-20 defeat at the hands of the Sequoyah Indians.
Despite the loss, Webster saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jordan Deroin threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 40 yards and a touchdown.
