Soccer Game Preview: Caroline vs. King George

Caroline hasn't had much luck against King George recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will take on the Foxes at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Caroline's offense. They came up short against Spotsylvania on Thursday, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, King George was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Eastern View. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but King George couldn't quite close it out.

King George's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Caroline, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

Caroline suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to King George in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
