Basketball Recap: Chester-Joplin-Inverness Takes a Loss

Chester-Joplin-Inverness was the 61-34 winner over North Star when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks fell 51-42 to the North Star Knights on Friday.

Chester-Joplin-Inverness' loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for North Star, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Turner the next time they take the court. North Star will host Turner at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Chester-Joplin-Inverness will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
