Basketball Game Preview: Rochester Warriors vs. Centralia Tigers

Rochester hasn't had much luck against Centralia recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rochester Warriors will take on the Centralia Tigers in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m.

While Rochester is heading in to the game without a win, things might be looking up considering their last match was the closest they've come to getting one. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-48 heartbreaker at the hands of Shelton. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Centralia had to endure an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Montesano with a 67-61 victory on Monday.

Rochester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Centralia, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4.

Rochester couldn't quite finish off Centralia in their previous meeting back in January and fell 43-41. Can Rochester avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
