Conway faced Jonesboro in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wampus Cats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hurricane. The win was familiar territory for the Wampus Cats, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

While Conway won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 26-24, 25-11.

Wren Jones paced Conway's offense, picking up 17 kills. Jones got some help from London Cabantac and her 24 assists. Jovie Harrell controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
