Basketball Recap: Guernsey-Sunrise Takes a Loss

Guernsey-Sunrise played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 75-4 loss at the hands of the Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Doggers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Lingle-Fort Laramie's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anthony Arnusch led the charge by going 8 of 11 on his way to 21 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Brady Cook, who went 8 for 9 en route to 16 points and six boards.

Guernsey-Sunrise's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lingle-Fort Laramie, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Guernsey-Sunrise won't have much time to rest: their next game is against HEM at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lingle-Fort Laramie, they will welcome Morrill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
