Football Recap: Scripps Ranch Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Scripps Ranch lost against Point Loma back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons came up short against the Pointers, falling 25-3.

Point Loma's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Henry Heuser led the charge by rushing for 85 yards and one touchdown on only six carries, while also throwing for 195 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 74.2% of his passes. That's the most passing yards Heuser has posted since back in September of 2024. Romeo Carter also helped with two scores in total.

Scripps Ranch now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Point Loma, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Scripps Ranch will face off against La Jolla Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Point Loma, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Eastlake at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
