After a string of nine wins, Woodrow Wilson's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jackrabbits this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Woodrow Wilson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-18.

Woodrow Wilson's defeat dropped their record down to 23-13. As for Long Beach Poly, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season.
