Basketball Recap: Lawndale Skates Past Centennial with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Inglewood, Lawndale was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They took their game with ease, bagging an 81-44 win over the Centennial Apaches. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Centennial still got an impressive performance from Jamir Bell, who made all 8 shots he took from beyond the arc to post 44 points in addition to 41 boards and 25 blocks. Bell's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Lawndale's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Centennial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Lawndale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Centennial, they are taking a road trip to challenge Crossroads at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
