Baseball Recap: Seaside Comes Up Short

Seaside lost against Scappoose back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Seagulls came up short against the Indians, falling 10-3. The Seagulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Seaside's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Scappoose, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Seaside will square off against Astoria at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Seagulls are facing the Fishermen at the right time seeing as the Fishermen are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Scappoose, they will head out to challenge Tillamook at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cheesemakers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
