Cannon County not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 28th (when they won 12-5). They blew past the Grundy County Yellowjackets 8-2. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won seven in a row.

Cannon County got a great performance from Landon Smith as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.1 innings pitched. Smith also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Lions are 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 8-9 otherwise.
