Columbine barely beat Dakota Ridge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rebels blew past the Eagles 3-0 on Tuesday.
 Columbine didn't let Dakota Ridge take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-24,  25-23.
 Sofia Screaton paced Columbine's offense, picking up 24 kills. Screaton got some help from  Maddie Lynett and her 39 assists. Lynett was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
Columbine has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record  this season. As for Dakota Ridge,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 15-6.
 Looking ahead, Columbine will venture away from home to  square off against Colorado Academy  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Dakota Ridge, they will host Chatfield  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
