Game recap: Long Beach Poly High School Football Team tops Jordan

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, Calif.) extended its winning streak to five games with a 31-0 victory over Jordan (Long Beach, Calif.) on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Tai Tiedemann to Johnnie Rucker in the first quarter, the Jackrabbits led 28-0 at the half.

Long Beach Poly grew its lead to 31 points entering the fourth quarter. LBP's lone score in the quarter came on a field goal by Fernando Martinez.

Long Beach Poly's most effective player was Josh Love. The junior quarterback threw three touchdowns.

Long Beach Poly came into the game allowing 13.5 points per game.



A 28-6 Long Beach Poly victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

The loss was the third in a row for the Panthers.

In a Moore game next week Long Beach Poly (6-1) takes on Lakewood, and Jordan (1-6) will go up against Millikan also in a Moore game.
