Basketball Recap: Islesboro Central Comes Up Short

Islesboro Central lost against Forest Hills back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Islesboro Central Eagles had to suffer through a 58-27 loss at the hands of the Forest Hills Tigers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Islesboro Central's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for Forest Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Islesboro Central will be playing at home against Pine Tree Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Islesboro Central is facing Pine Tree Academy at the right time seeing as Pine Tree Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Forest Hills, they will face off against North Haven at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forest Hills will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: North Haven will have lost four straight heading into Tuesday's game.
