Softball Recap: Sparta Trojans vs. Fordland Eagles

In what's become a running theme this season, Sparta gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over the Fordland Eagles. Winning may never get old, but Sparta sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Addison Humble spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Mckenzie Wilson was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with a home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Addi Taylor, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
