Flag Football Game Preview: Marana Tigers vs. Xavier College Prep Gators + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Isabella Garcia and Ana Matuz are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Marana Tigers will be playing at home against the Xavier College Prep Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Marana is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Marana is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Salpointe Catholic, who was ranked 15th at the time (Marana was ranked second). The Tigers took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 44-10 win over the Lancers. Considering the Tigers have won seven games by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Xavier College Prep posted their closest victory since September 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 23-20 win over Tucson High Magnet School.

Xavier College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Marana, their win bumped their record up to 11-0.

Marana took their victory against Xavier College Prep in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 24-0 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Gators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
