Softball Recap: Roseville Falls Short of West Park in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Roseville can now relate to. They lost 8-1 to the West Park Panthers on Wednesday. The Tigers were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Panthers' pitchers proved too tough.

Alyssa West made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and one run.

The loss snapped Roseville's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-10 record. As for West Park, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.
