Baseball Recap: Family Christian Comes Up Short

Family Christian came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Episcopal Knights, falling 17-3. The Flames have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Parker Ruckman was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases. Family Christian is 5-2 when Ruckman posts two or more stolen bases, but 10-11 otherwise.

Family Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Episcopal, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-13.
