Hackett Catholic Prep had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.8 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-23 win over the Constantine Falcons. Given the Fighting Irish's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Falcons are ranked 302nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hackett Catholic Prep pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points over those games. As for Constantine, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
