Football Recap: SEED Comes Up Short on the Road Against Parkville

SEED had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 20-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parkville Knights on Friday. The Sabers were right on the edge of victory: they outscored the Knights in the fourth quarter 8-0.

When it comes to explaining why SEED lost, don't look at Dominic Wilkins. Despite the final result, he rushed for 109 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries. Michael Smith got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

SEED didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 32-0 win against Digital Harbor on the 11th. As for Parkville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 33-6 loss against Franklin on the 12th.
