Volleyball Game Preview: Christopher Cougars vs. Westmont Warriors

The Christopher Cougars will challenge the Westmont Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Christopher comes in on four and Westmont on five.

Christopher barely beat Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Christopher put the hurt on Hill with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Christopher took every set by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Westmont earned a 3-1 win over Leland on Tuesday.

Westmont had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-8, 25-17, 25-16.

Westmont's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Christopher, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Christopher suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Westmont in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can Christopher avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
