Volleyball Recap: Glastonbury Starts Season with Win at Home

Glastonbury took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lewis Mills Spartans. The Guardians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-11, 25-19.

Trevor Hoffman paced Glastonbury's offense, picking up eight kills. Hoffman got some help from Dan Park and his 13 assists. Park was also solid from the service line: he led the team with nine aces.

Glastonbury has already played their next contest (against Woodstock Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lewis Mills, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against New Britain on the 9th.
