Basketball Recap: Pinecrest Prep Comes Up Short

Pinecrest Prep lost against Sunset back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pinecrest Prep Crocs' were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 51-50 to the Sunset Knights. The Crocs' have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pinecrest Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Sunset, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinecrest Prep won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Schoolhouse Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sunset, they will be home for the holidays to greet Varela at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
