Tuscola took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against St. Thomas More, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Sabers 3-2 on Tuesday. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 10-3 victory the Sabers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Tuscola has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-16 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for St. Thomas More, they dropped their record down to 7-17 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuscola will face off against Monticello at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
