Volleyball Recap: Annapolis Area Christian Starts off Right with Win over Catholic + How To Watch

Annapolis Area Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Catholic. The Eagles haven't had any issues with Catholic recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Annapolis Area Christian took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-9.

Annapolis Area Christian found their leader in freshman Brie Mouton, who had 14 assists and eight aces. Harper Walker was another key player, getting five digs and two aces.

Annapolis Area Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Annapolis Area Christian will head out to challenge Glenelg Country at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Catholic, they will take on Garrison Forest at 5:30 p.m. on September 5.
