Volleyball Recap: Philip Barbour Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Philip Barbour had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They blew past the Berkeley Springs Indians 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Thursday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Philip Barbour was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-13.

Philip Barbour was led to victory by Leann Moss and Izzy Knotts. Moss had 18 digs and two aces, while Knotts hit 72.4% for 22 kills and 15 digs and two blocks. Knotts is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last 40 games she's played.

Philip Barbour's win bumped their record up to 42-11-2. As for Berkeley Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.
