High School of the Future entered their tilt with Benjamin Franklin on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They took down the Electrons 31-14. The Firebirds pushed the score to 31-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Electrons cut but never quite recovered from.

High School of the Future's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Benjamin Franklin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. High School of the Future is set to face off against their familiar foe Academy at Palumbo at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Firebirds 13.9, the Griffin 8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Benjamin Franklin will challenge rival KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
