Recap: Capitan Tigers vs. Dora Coyotes
Capitan's game last Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Dora Coyotes as the Capitan Tigers made off with a 26-7 victory.
Logan Ritter made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off only one hit. Ritter was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing seven bases while getting on base in four of his eight plate appearances.
In other batting news, Aiden Smith was a standout: he went 4-for-6 with six stolen bases, six RBI, and three runs. Jack Emerson-Betti was another key contributor, going 4-for-6 with a home run, six RBI, and four runs.
