Baseball Recap: Carvers Bay Falls Short of Lowcountry Leadership in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carvers Bay can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators by a score of 11-9 on Wednesday. The Bears haven't had much luck with the NaviGators recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Carvers Bay saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clark Jones, who went 2-for-5 with one home run and five RBI.

Carvers Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Carvers Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Lake View on the 15th.
