Volleyball Recap: Cromwell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cromwell had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 9-8 to make it four. They fell just short of the Valley Regional Warriors by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Victoria Narwot paced Cromwell's offense, picking up 16 kills. Narwot got some help from Isabella Davis and her 34 assists. Finally, Narwot was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

As for Valley Regional, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since October 30, 2024.

Leading Valley Regional to victory were Daphne Zito and Kellyn Kolber. Zito had 12 digs, while Kolber had 20 digs and five kills. Kolber is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in each of the last 40 games she's played dating back to last season.

Cromwell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against North Branford on the 13th. As for Valley Regional, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Morgan on the 13th.
