Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Aaliyah Brooks and Audrey Pacheco Lead Red Mountain to Victory

Red Mountain won against Corona del Mar on Wednesday with 48 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Mountain Lions walked away with a 48-41 victory over the Edison Chargers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mountain Lions.

Red Mountain was led to victory by Audrey Pacheco and Aaliyah Brooks. Pacheco shot 63% from the field on her way to 14 points and seven boards, while Brooks dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. The last time Pacheco's shooting accuracy was this high was back in January. Another player making a difference was Sequoia Johnson, who posted ten points and eight boards.

Red Mountain now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Edison, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Red Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-21 loss against Los Alamitos on the 29th. As for Edison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 36-35 defeat against West Covina on the 29th.
