Baseball Game Preview: Glendale Pirates vs. Coquille Red Devils

The Glendale Pirates will face off against the Coquille Red Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Glendale couldn't beat Lowell on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Pirates fell 11-8 to the Red Devils. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Red Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Coquille fell victim to Cottage Grove and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Lions, falling 10-0.

Coquille's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Glendale, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Everything went Glendale's way against Coquille when the teams last played back in March of 2019, as Glendale made off with a 13-7 win. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
