Basketball Recap: Isaiah Brown Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Madison

Stranahan won the last time they faced Madison and things went their way on Friday too. The Mighty Dragons walked away with a 60-50 win over the Trojans.

Stranahan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Brown, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. Brown is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. Damari Foster was another key player, putting up ten points and six assists.

Madison's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josiah Cobb, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jamirion Rice, who scored 12 points.

Stranahan now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Madison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Stranahan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-52 loss against Mansfield Summit on the 29th. As for Madison, they have also already played their next matchup, a 64-55 win against St. Francis Episcopal on the 29th.
