Baseball Recap: Mulhall-Orlando Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Mulhall-Orlando's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let Oilton get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Considering Mulhall-Orlando has won seven games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Denver McKay, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Daegan Pool, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Mulhall-Orlando's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Oilton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Mulhall-Orlando has already played their next contest (against Taloga), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Oilton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mounds at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
