Alleghany extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Colby Crouse. The Alleghany Trojans came out on top against the East Wilkes Cardinals by a score of 65-56 on Wednesday thanks in part to Crouse, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 18 points and seven boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15 points per game.

Another player making a difference was John LeMasters, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Alleghany's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for East Wilkes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Alleghany didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-55 defeat against Elkin on the 7th. As for East Wilkes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-53 victory against North Stokes on the 7th.
