Will Carleton Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Harrison Sands, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards. Sands has been hot, having posted nine or more rebounds the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of David Maier, who posted 11 points and four steals.

Will Carleton Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Calhoun Christian duked it out withKellogg on Tuesday. Calhoun Christian was outmatched by Kellogg and fell 68-35. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Will Carleton Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Calhoun Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Everything went Will Carleton Academy's way against Calhoun Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as Will Carleton Academy made off with a 59-39 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Will Carleton Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
