Basketball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 43-33 to the Wadley Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-36 last Friday.

It was another big night for A'Mya Brown, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine steals for Wadley. The game was Brown's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ka'Leah Sheppard, who posted six points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Wadley, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

As of now, neither Woodland nor Wadley have any future games scheduled.
