Softball Recap: Resurrection Takes a Loss

Resurrection managed to slip by Lane Tech the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bandits came up short against the Champions on Friday, falling 12-3. The Bandits were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Champions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Molly Reichenberger made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Resurrection's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Lane Tech, their win bumped their record up to 19-11.

Resurrection didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Evanston on the 24th. As for Lane Tech, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Libertyville on the 24th.
