Basketball Recap: Abbeville Christian Academy Skates Past Wiregrass with Ease

Abbeville Christian Academy won the last time they faced Wiregrass and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Abbeville Christian Academy Generals blew past the Wiregrass Kings, posting a 69-39 win. The Generals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 30 points or more this season.

Jayden Buckhannon was his usual excellent self, going 9 of 15 on his way to 23 points along with seven boards and five assists. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Cooper, who posted ten points.

The victory was the third in a row for Abbeville Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 40.3 points. As for Wiregrass, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Abbeville Christian Academy will take on Southwest Georgia Academy in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th at. As for Wiregrass, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Calvary Christian at 7:30 p.m. Calvary Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.7 points per game this season.
