Softball Recap: Ray Bearcats vs. Superior Panthers        
        
		
            
 Ray had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by  a  16-5 margin over the Superior Panthers. The  victory was just what Ray needed coming off of  a  19-0 loss in their prior  match.
  Madison Kenney made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  struck out eight batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. Kenney was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Julissa Garcia was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Kaylee Servant, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Ray's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-16. As for Superior, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 0-9.
 Ray will take on Duncan at 2:45  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Superior, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Joseph City at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
