Volleyball Recap: Derby Comes Up Short

Derby was the 2-1 winner over Hutchinson when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Salthawks on Tuesday.

Derby may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 14 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14.

Derby now has a losing record of 9-10-1. As for Hutchinson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

Looking ahead, Derby will be playing in front of their home fans against South on Tuesday. As for Hutchinson, they are taking a road trip to take on West at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
