Soccer Recap: Lincoln High Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Lincoln High was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 4-0 to the Columbus Discoverers. If Lincoln High were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Columbus when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lincoln High's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Columbus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Coming up, Lincoln High will be playing at home against Lincoln Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln Southwest's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Lincoln High's offense will have their work cut out for them. Columbus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
