Basketball Recap: Chilton Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Chilton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 47-36 to the Pineview Christian Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 52-21 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Chilton Christian Academy lost, don't look at Cayman Hamilton. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points and eight rebounds. That was a full 50% of the Patriots' points, marking the fifth time in a row Hamilton has scored more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Mitchell, who had four points and five boards.

Chilton Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pineview Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Chilton Christian Academy will take on East Central HomeSchool at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pineview Christian, after both having extra time off, they and Mt. Pleasant Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
