Ingleside waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Wimberley Texans by a score of 5-0. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Victoria Uribe, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Carol Rodriquez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Ingleside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Ingleside's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Wimberley, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
