Softball Game Preview: Parma Panthers vs. Vision

The Parma Panthers will head out on the road to face off against Vision at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parma will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

While Parma's win against New Plymouth wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers skirted past the Pilgrims 3-1.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Vision was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against Melba, falling 15-1. The defeat continues a trend for Vision in their meetings with Melba: they've now lost five in a row.

Parma's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Vision, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Parma took their victory against Vision when the teams last played last Friday by a conclusive 22-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
