After losing to Flathead the last time they met, Butte decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Butte Bulldogs strolled past the Flathead Braves/Bravettes with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 41-24. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Braves/Bravettes are ranked 128th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Butte has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Flathead, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Butte will challenge Big Sky at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Flathead, they will head out to challenge Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
