Softball Recap: Colerain Cardinals vs. Seton Saints
Colerain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Seton Saints. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their loss to the Saints from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.
Rylee Selmeyer was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Dia Logan was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Colerain's defeat dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Seton, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-17.
The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Colerain will square off against Lakota East at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
