Recap: St. Joseph Jayhawks vs. Providence Hall Patriots        
        
		
            
 After flying high against the Maeser Prep Academy Lions  on Thursday, the St. Joseph Jayhawks came back down to earth. St. Joseph ended up on the wrong side of a  tough 49-25 walloping at the hands of Providence Hall on Friday. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. Joseph in their matchups with Providence Hall: they've now lost four in a row.
 St. Joseph lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Katelyn Martinez, who  scored 12 points. Martinez scored a full 48% of St. Joseph's points, the sixth time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  Eliza Berg was another key contributor,  scoring seven points.
 St. Joseph's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Providence Hall, the  win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-5.
 St. Joseph won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Monument Valley at 2:30  p.m.  on January 6th. Monument Valley is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.9  points per game. As for Providence Hall, they will head out on the road to face off against Summit Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
