Soccer Game Preview: Mexico vs. Wright City

Mexico is 0-6 against Wright City since April of 2019 but things could change on Monday. Mexico will host Wright City at 6:40 p.m. Mexico has given up an average of 3.8 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mexico is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Saturday, they were much more limited against Festus on Saturday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, Wright City got the win against Brentwood on Friday by a conclusive 9-2.

Mexico's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wright City, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Mexico couldn't quite get it done against Wright City when the teams last played back in March of 2024 as they fell 4-2. Can Mexico avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
